In celebration of the release of its 2007 Syndicate line, Vans hosted a gathering behind a Sunset Boulevard comic store as the venue to showcase its latest releases from its Syndicate line. The new line featured classic Vans styles influenced by BMX culture, artist Wes Humpston, L.A. graffiti writer Chazz, and a collaboration series with Japanese streetwear brand W)Tapps. All artists were in attendance including the honorable Wes Humpston as well as renowned LA graffiti artist Chaz, both of whose artwork was on display. Chaz had a huge screened piece on the wall, and Wes brought his custom deck collection. W)Tapps brought philosophy and knowledge to the entire event and it was pretty amazing, Im actually going to get on the phone and try to cop a pair right now.
