HVC BLK headed out to Hong Kong with Vans Syndicate, for a short/long week. We got to meet up with Brian from 852 skate shop, AKA the MAYOR of HONG KONG. If your ever out in Hong Kong stopping by 852 and linking up with Brian is a must. Brian also runs a brand called 'Knowledge' and has done collab’s with the most exclusive artists in the world, so make sure you head to www.8five2.com for more info. We also ended up at a “government” funded demo which was pretty shocking but entertaining to say the least, peep the photos and be thankful for the demos you have been to. Between the amazing food, checking out Big Buddha, and getting a sneak peak at the new Vans Syndicate line China was definitely a successful mission. Just make sure when youre in the mainland to keep an eye out for sketchy Yakuza characters and always turn down heads that follow you looking to give you a “good deal” on a suit.
